Luckett Vineyards captures the magic of Nova Scotia’s distinctive character through wines that truly are worth phoning home about. Sample from their local menu, while enjoying the stunning views over Blomidon and the Minas Basin.
Tours take place daily at 11:00am and 3:00pm, weather permitting. For special occasions, the vineyard's private Barrel Cellar is an impressive space with an extraordinary menu. East Coast Balloon Adventures
If the thrill of adventure is what you're seeking, flying over the Annapolis Valley in a hot air balloon may be exactly what the doctor ordered! Join East Coast Balloon Adventures in the celebration of man’s earliest and surely most romantic form of flight. "The world seems an almost perfect place from the basket of a hot air balloon."
Your hot air balloon adventure begins when you meet your pilot and flight crew. Morning flights meet approximately a 1/2 hour before sunrise and evening flights approximately 2 1/2 hours before sunset. Visit their website for more information and to book your adventure!
Oaklawn Farm Zoo
Located in the heart of the beautiful Annapolis Valley in Aylesford, The Oaklawn Farm Zoo offers fun and adventure for all ages. Oaklawn Farm Zoo has the most exciting display of animals in Nova Scotia and the largest display of cats and primates in the Atlantic Provinces!
Stroll around and spend some time at their 50-acre zoo while interacting with a wide variety of mammals, birds and reptiles! Children's pony rides are also available and there is a picnic area, gift shop, canteen and plenty of parking. For more information, visit their website.
Located in Glenville Cape Breton, Glenora Distillery produces North America's first and Canada's only single malt whisky. Along with their award winning whisky, Glenora offers a beautiful inn comprised of nine rooms overlooking a wonderful courtyard and six self-contained log chalets nestled on the mountainside and overlooking the distillery and the scenic glen where eagles soar.
